Myq Kaplan’s Comedy Special Rini Announced for a Nov 19 Release on Blonde Medicine

Myq Kaplan and Blonde Medicine are pleased to announce the release of Rini, Myq’s latest project. On November 19, Rini will be available as a full length video special on YouTube. The audio album will be available everywhere comedy is streamed or sold starting on December 12.

 

Twenty years into his comedy career, and nearly a decade into his relationship with Rini Voskressensky, the two collaborated to craft a deeply personal project that is equal parts a comedy special and a thesis on love. In this heartwarming and hilarious project named after his partner, Myq offers advice to his past dumb self while discussing his evolving thoughts on traditional marriage, polyamory, quantum physics, psychedelics, music, God, and more. 

 

“I'm a better person because of her. I'm a better comedian because of her. We created this show about our relationship together, an artistic collaboration about our romantic collaboration,” says Myq. “The show is a celebration of love. So, I hope everyone loves it. And laughs at it, because it’s funny.”

 

This comedy special will be available on the Blonde Medicine YouTube channel starting November 19. The audio will be available everywhere comedy albums are streamed or downloaded starting December 12.
