Ahmed Khalaf’s Comedy Album Hobble D. Hoy Announced for a March 7 Release on Blonde Medicine

NEW YORK, NY - January 27, 2025 - Blonde Medicine is excited to announce the debut comedy album from Ahmed Khalaf, Hobble D. Hoy, due out March 7, available everywhere comedy is streamed or sold.

Somalia-born, California-raised, and Minneapolis-based comic Ahmed Khalaf spent 8 years developing his comedy skills to build his first comedy album. On it, Ahmed shares how he beat tough odds like being born in a Somalian refugee camp but growing up to out-white the wife of a brewery owner, and learning how to walk again after breaking his leg at 30. His comedy blends short and long form jokes, observations, and storytelling to break down his life story and the unique culture of the Midwest.

Pre-order for Hobble D. Hoy will go live on February 2. The album will be available in full everywhere comedy is streamed or sold on March 7.

About Ahmed Khalaf:
