Amy Miller Announces New Album "CALIFORNIA KING" for an April 22, 2022 Release on Blonde Medicine

...fiercest jokes I’ve ever heard.” - Keenen Ivory Wayans (Last Comic Standing)

Blonde Medicine is pleased to announce the release of comedian Amy Miller’s sophomore album California King on April 22, 2022. Miller’s material is personal, political, and 100% authentic.

She found a wildly creative way to find empowerment while simultaneously sparking laughter” - The Laugh Button

On California King, out on the heels of her debut Comedy Central special Ham Mouth, Amy Miller takes us on a delightful romp through stories of her West Coast upbringing, a spicy pandemic breakup, and turning 40. Miller’s ease on stage and sharp writing were on full display at the San Francisco Punch Line (considered by Miller to be one of the best comedy clubs in the country and her home club) where California King was recorded.

Miller juxtaposes an unassuming demeanor with unflinching assurance.” - Courting Comedy

Miller has been doing stand-up since 2010 (unless you count Baptist church Christmas plays), when she went to an open mic on a whim never thinking she would do it a second time. Lucky for us this proved wrong!

Miller initially found her comedy chops in Oakland, and after a move to Portland, she shot to the top of the Pacific Northwest comedy scene winning Portland’s Funniest in Helium's 2015 contest, and being voted Portland’s Funniest Comedian for 2013 and 2015 in the Willamette Week. Miller is the first woman to win each position.

Miller currently resides in LA when she isn’t touring nationally as a comedy-club and festival headliner.

These are just good jokes about mostly myself and my life I guess.” - Amy Miller
